Fried Dough Balls

Description

These are a quick, everyday treat that uses a simple unleavened dough. The corn flour gives them a beautiful yellow color and a slightly nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the sugar. They are crunchy on the outside and firm on the inside, making them a great finger food for kids or a quick energy boost during the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup YENE corn flour
  • ½ cup water (add gradually)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Oil (for frying)

Instruction

1.In a bowl, mix YENE corn flour and sugar .

2.Slowly add water while mixing.

3.Take small portions of the YENE corn flour dough and Roll into small balls using your hands.

4.Pour oil into a pan (enough for frying).

5.Heat on medium heat.

6.Gently place the YENE corn flour balls into the oil.

7.Fry for 3–5 minutes, turning occasionally.

8.Remove and place on paper towel and Serve warm.
