Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup YENE corn flour
  • 2–3 cups water or milk
  • 2–3 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon or vanilla (optional, for flavor)

Instruction

  1. Bring water or milk to a boil.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix cornmeal with a little cold water (this helps prevent lumps).
  3. Slowly pour the mixture into the boiling liquid while stirring.
  4. Reduce heat and cook gently.
  5. Stir continuously until smooth and thick (about 10–15 minutes).
