Description

Cornbread is a popular “quick bread” known for its distinct golden color and slightly grainy, pleasant texture. It strikes a perfect balance between sweet and savory, making it an ideal side dish for chili, soups, or simply enjoyed warm with a bit of honey and butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup YENE corn flour
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instruction

1.Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.

3.Add milk and egg, then stir.

4.Pour into a baking pan.

5.Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
