1.Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2.In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until creamy.
3.Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix well.
4.In another bowl, combine wheat flour, YENE corn flour, baking powder, and salt.
5.Slowly add dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
6.Mix until a soft dough forms.
7.Shape small balls and slightly flatten them.
8.Place on a baking tray.
9.Bake for 12–15 minutes until light golden.
10.Let cool before serving.
